New Avion warehouse for Textile and Fashion industry goods

Avion’s investments continue to expand and strengthen its own infrastructures: towards the end of April 2021, a new warehouse was inaugurated at the company’s headquarters in Peschiera Borromeo (MI).

The initiative stems from the desire to better and more quickly support the flow of international shipments for our textiles and fashion sector customers.  

Operational processes

Clothing quality controls, management of hanging and laid out garments and accessories, and picking for the composition of orders to be sent to their destinations through automatic packing lists, for packages or individual textile and fashion items. From our warehouse, goods travel to countries all over the world in containers dedicated to the shipment of garments on hangers (GOH Containers).

Digital processes

Avion’s integrated third-party logistics services via innovative software and dedicated warehouse management systems (WMS) add extra value to our activities: Avion’s Warehouse Management System integrates with external systems such as the corporate Transport Management Systems (TMS) and other e-service platforms via EDI/API flows.

At any time, it is possible to trace the movement and stock of each item or stock keeping unit (SKU) managed on behalf of our customers.
