From November 3 to 8, 2025, Dubai and Abu Dhabi will host the 16th edition of The Italian Cuisine World Summit, one of the most influential international events dedicated to promoting Italian cuisine and high-quality agri-food products around the world.
Avion Company will take part in the initiative as Main Partner.
The Summit, supported this year by Confagricoltura, is conceived and directed by Rosario Scarpato, journalist, cultural producer, and founder of the itchefs-GVCI network, which has been connecting thousands of Italian culinary professionals worldwide for over two decades.
Over the years, the Summit has become a global showcase of the Sistema Italia in the food & beverage industry, not only from a cultural perspective, but also in terms of business, logistics, and entrepreneurship.
Each edition brings together Italian chefs and restaurateurs, as well as buyers, importers, and investors from across the globe.
At its core, the event celebrates the value of Made in Italy as a combination of craftsmanship, regional identity, production expertise, and global vision. A vision fully shared by Avion Company, which experiences the power and complexity of the international logistics chain connecting Italy to the world every single day.

In international freight forwarding, managing food & beverage logistics requires deep technical knowledge, full compliance with import/export regulations, and strict delivery schedules.
Avion Company, as an experienced freight forwarder and licensed customs broker, has long provided specialized logistics solutions including:
The UAE is a well-established market for Italian food exports, but it comes with unique logistical and regulatory challenges.
Thanks to our in-depth knowledge of trade routes and local customs dynamics, we offer a reliable, fully customized logistics service designed around each customer’s specific needs and every shipment’s unique characteristics.
We operate directly in the UAE through a consolidated network of in-market professionals and local experts, ensuring every step of the shipping process is managed efficiently and in full compliance with local regulations.
We chose to support The Italian Cuisine World Summit because of its ability to combine two essential dimensions: on one side, the excellence of traditional Italian cuisine as defined by Michelin starred chefs; on the other, the stage it offers to a new generation of chefs who carry forward the Made in Italy legacy with a fresh, innovative approach grounded in authenticity.

This same balance between tradition and innovation is reflected in the world of logistics and international shipping, especially within the agri-food supply chain, which is constantly evolving to respond to new routes, emerging markets, and ever-changing operational demands.
Avion Company was founded in Italy, but over its thirty-year history, it has grown beyond national borders. Today, we operate through a strong global network of partners and local teams, including a direct presence in the United Arab Emirates, while maintaining seamless coordination between our Italian headquarters and our international branches.
We also keep investing in advanced technology to track shipments in real time and give full visibility across the supply chain.
Our systems allow customers to track cargo status, anticipate possible issues, and benefit from complete transparency throughout the shipping process.
In a fast moving global market, we believe innovation means more than adopting new tools, it means building a smarter, more responsible logistics ecosystem, aligned with the evolving values of Made in Italy around the world.
Because delivering Italian products to international markets means preserving their integrity, celebrating their origin, and supporting the reputation of those who produce them.
